r*About This Role*

The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University seeks a Diagnostic Technician II. This position will have the primary responsibility of coordinating new incoming research projects and developing new tests related to immunohistochemistry.

This position is on-site.

*What You\'ll Need to Succeed*

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires an associate degree and two years of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in histotechnology, ASCP [histotechnician (HT)
• Histology experience- familiarity with laboratory tests and procedures, working knowledge of chemistry, familiarity with animal diseases, interest in animals,
• Good team player
• Knowledge of safe laboratory practices
• Maintaining harmonious working relationships with co-workers and other employees is preferred
• A positive customer service attitude
