Requirements include a DVM or equivalent degree and ACVP board certification or board eligibility. Applicants with ACVP board certification and/or graduate training (MS or PhD degree) will be given preference.\ \ Position responsibilities are flexible depending on the professional interests of the successful candidate and could range from 70% directed diagnostic service with 30% research /teaching, to 50% directed diagnostic service with 50% collaborative research service. Our diverse and busy diagnostic service duties include necropsy, mail-in and biopsy case management with timely communication of results to clients, didactic and experiential teaching of veterinary and graduate students, and training of anatomic pathology residents. KSVDL has a large and diverse caseload, which includes companion animal, all types of livestock, exotic/zoo species, wildlife, and poultry.
