This position utilizes excellent interpersonal communication and relational skills to help students reach their career and academic goals. The advisor will engage in collaborative advising conversations with online learners while assisting them in academic and course planning, professional preparation, and connections to university resources. The Online Advisor must understand the characteristics and needs of adult online learners, and best practices for advising online students to identify issues and make appropriate referrals. The Advisor will work closely with partner colleges and the online team of academic advisors to coordinate communications and advising practices to students.   • Bachelor\'s Degree
  • One year of relevant experience

Master\'s degree in either Academic Advising, Adult and Continuing Education, College Student Development or Counseling and Student Development (experience may be substituted for discipline specific requirements).
