Workers will use equipment to plant, cultivate and harvest wheat, milo, corn, soybeans, and alfalfa, apply fertilizers, tillage, raking, swathing, bailing, and stacking crops. Workers will drive non-CDL trucks to haul grain, hay and sprayers. Drug testing will be performed upon incidence, accident or suspicion, at the employers expense. Failure or refusal of a drug test is grounds for immediate termination. Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs and have at least 3 months of experience operating grain farming equipment.
Housing is a two bedroom, one bathroom house with kitchen and is fully furnished. Housing is leased but operated by the employer.
The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals, this includes basic appliances, pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls and dish washing facilities for meal preparation etc. The employer will also provide (on a regular weekly basis and at no cost) transportation, to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
For workers residing in employer provided housing only, employer will provide (at no cost to worker) daily transportation from the housing to the various listed work sites and back each day and to the stores weekly. Workers will be transported by a 4 passenger, 2004 Grand Prix and a 4 passenger, 2005 Chevy Duramax pick up truck both vehicles are owned and insured by the employer. Transportation will meet all required regulations.
