Job Description
GARDNER CRYOGENICS, is a division of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD). Our facilities manufacture cryogenic Helium and Hydrogen equipment to support industrial gas businesses. Including pressure vessels, piping systems, sub-assemblies and supporting components. We manufacture transportable and stationary equipment, all of which done by our skilled work force.
Our Welders are skilled positions requiring knowledge of GTAW, GMAW, Orbital Welding, fabrication drawings, blueprints, AWS weld symbols, and welding procedures. GTAW (TIG) experience is a plus. Our welding positions also require experience setting up welding equipment for safe and efficient use, and the ability to weld stainless and carbon steel in various positions and degrees of difficulty.
Experience in the following areas will also be a plus:
Plasma Cutter, Shear, overhead cranes, forklifts
Shop mathematics and blueprints
Welding, fitting, and cutting skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency required
Ability to pass qualification tests in accordance with ASME Section IX and qualified WPS.
Previous welding experience required
Prior fabrication craft skills or manufacturing experience required
You must be able to work the afternoon shift from 2:00pm – 10:00pm
