Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work ground; prepare and maintain land; and plant, irrigate, cultivate, harvest, and transport crops to storage areas. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, loaders, swathers, rakes, balers, combines, and mowers. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job also requires participating in irrigation activities including setting up and operating irrigation equipment, operating well motors, operating and maintaining sprinkler systems; mowing; swathing, raking, and baling hay; harvesting grain and silage; erecting and maintaining fencing; and moving cattle between pastures. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers\' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
