Aerotek Traveling Superintendent in Lenexa, Kansas

Description: Project Superintendent

Our client is currently looking for Project Superintendent that supports Mission Critical Facility projects. This will be a full-time traveling position. Typical

projects are $5-20M, 6 months to a year. Our client has a need for candidates with strong Superintendent skills plus significant experience in Data Center/Mission Critical work.

Details / Responsibilities :

  • This will be a full-time traveling position.

  • Typical projects are $5-20M, 6 months to a year. significant

  • experience in Data Center/Mission Critical work.

  • Provide coordination and supervision of design-build and bid-build projects in mission critical facilities such as tele data switch centers and data centers

  • Collaboration with clients, design team and contractors for project success

  • Build/maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First”

  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance

  • Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics

  • Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.

  • Build/update construction schedule and ‘look ahead’ schedules

  • Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical/site considerations are included

  • Author and execute M.O.P.s (Method of Procedure)

  • Complete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo journal of progress
