Sterling Medical Devices Systems Test Engineer in Lenexa, Kansas

We are seeking to hire an engineer to join our Team as a Systems Test Engineer. Our medical products improve quality of life for patients every day. Our innovative products are developed by experienced, multi-disciplinary teams, and require a high level of hardware and software integration. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop test strategy plans for medical devices having electronic, software and mechanical elements.

  • Provide inputs for product requirements based on test feasibility, schedule, and cost.

  • Create test procedures based on documented product requirements.

  • Execute test cases.

  • Troubleshoots test issues and product design issues.

  • Select test equipment and test tools.

  • Manage defective databases in cooperation with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

  • Function as core team member on multi-disciplinary projects.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

  • Experience writing test cases from requirements specifications.

  • Experience executing test cases.

  • Good technical writing skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in a team setting.

  • Good understanding of electronics and software.

  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and international standards for Medical Devices a plus!
