Sterling Medical Devices Systems Test Engineer in Lenexa, Kansas
We are seeking to hire an engineer to join our Team as a Systems Test Engineer. Our medical products improve quality of life for patients every day. Our innovative products are developed by experienced, multi-disciplinary teams, and require a high level of hardware and software integration.
Responsibilities:
Develop test strategy plans for medical devices having electronic, software and mechanical elements.
Provide inputs for product requirements based on test feasibility, schedule, and cost.
Create test procedures based on documented product requirements.
Execute test cases.
Troubleshoots test issues and product design issues.
Select test equipment and test tools.
Manage defective databases in cooperation with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
Function as core team member on multi-disciplinary projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Experience writing test cases from requirements specifications.
Experience executing test cases.
Good technical writing skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a team setting.
Good understanding of electronics and software.
Knowledge of FDA regulations and international standards for Medical Devices a plus!
