Job Description
Insight Global is looking for someone to work as a Sr. Data Scientist for one of our clients in the Lenexa, KS area. There are 3 major areas that this person would come in and be involved with, however, this person will move around to different projects often. This person will be working a lot in the fraud space, in addition to evaluating data to give best recommendations to their customers. This person may also get involved in marketing and AI efforts. If you are familiar with chatGPT, this could be useful when making strides in this position. This person will be on a project for typically 3-4 months at a time. This person will be working closely with one other peer and a couple of others in the data platform team.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of professional data science experience
Needs to have true professional experience, not just "knowledge" in the space
Coming from a prior data engineer or data analyst background will not suffice - needs to have been in a data science role specifically
Machine Learning
SQL
Cloud Experience - client is in an azure cloud environment
Prior experience in AWS or GCP is a fine alternative if they don't have azure
Python - Databricks (big plus)
Sidekick (cloud-based AI software)
Pandas
Financial background null
