Summary:

TouchNet, a leading provider of payment and credentialing solutions in the Higher Education space, is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, definition and execution for one or more products and solutions that impact multiple product development teams and/or business functions.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a hands-on role in the development of new products, evolving current products, and leading research for things like user experience, market trends, and competitive solutions. You will also serve as a product expert, working internally across departments to communicate product direction, educating team members on new features and functionality, as well as managing product plans, roadmaps and product launches.

The ideal candidate You will be an expert in technology products including micro-services, Restful APIs, Platform as a Service, cloud solutions, messaging, and other technologies necessary to create a world-class platform solution. Previous experience in higher education with a focus on Student AR or Finance is preferred. This position will report to the Head of Product Management within the Product and Program Management department.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the future vision/development of TouchNet solutions, based on input from various sources, including:

  • Current clients

  • Sales

  • Professional Services

  • Senior Management

  • Business Development

  • Software Development

  • Presenting product goals/plans to leadership team

  • Documenting business requirements

  • Prioritizing development items based on product goals

  • Working closely with development and UX teams throughout the development lifecycle

  • Communicating product updates/plans internally and to the client base

  • Managing product feedback post-release (internal and external)

  • Post release review of product acceptance, quality

  • Participate in sales demonstrations and webinars

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in software Product Management or equivalent. eCommerce experience preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • BS/BA Degree

  • Occasional Travel

  • Experience with an Agile software development processes

  • Experience with JIRA, Aha!, OKRs is a plus
