APTIM Project Administrator in Lenexa, Kansas

Job Overview:

APTIM currently has an opening for a Project Specialist/Administrative Professional. This is primarily a telecommuting position supporting our environmental business practice.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • The Project Specialist/Administrative Professional will be responsible for various administrative duties supporting multiple projects.

  • Attend and participate in bi-weekly program team calls

  • Communications with regulatory agencies, subcontractors and vendors.

  • Electronic tracking and filing of data received from subcontractors and vendors.

  • Tracking and follow up on work completion reports, invoices, field data, etc. from subcontractors

  • Work will consist of straightforward tasks using established procedures, with the potential for solving routine problems as encountered.

  • Will be expected to apply basic technical skills and knowledge to complete the assigned work and will be expected to manage his/her own time to meet deadlines set by others.

  • Develop and maintain records of communication with clients and stakeholders

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project filing systems for project documents in accordance with established program protocols.

  • Assist with the general coordination and preparation of documents, presentations, and general client submittals on an as needed basis.

  • Conduct online research of regulations, state databases, and project specific information on an as needed basis

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.

  • 2-5 years administrative experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets

  • Interprets customer and team needs and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.

  • Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.

  • Must have strong organizational skills

  • Interacts well in a dynamic virtual office team environment

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
