Global Payments, Inc. Mobile Test Engineer - Quality Assurance Analyst in Lenexa, Kansas

Summary:

TouchNet, a Global Payments Company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team! The Quality Assurance Analyst will join a team responsible for testing TouchNet’s mobile applications within our Access and eCommerce system. This role is responsible for manual mobile testing as well as automated testing. Responsibilities will be over existing and newly created mobile apps that cover many of TouchNet’s product functionalities.

Job Details:

Location: Lenexa, KS - must be willing to work on site in our office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop manual and automated test cases including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed to deliver high-quality releases

  • Define and promote test automation best practices, standards and processes.

  • Leverage test automation to support CI/CD objectives of the organization

  • Create data sets to be used in test automation activities.

  • Testing with mobile emulators and real mobile devices.

  • Document and/or review testing results working closely with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve reported issues

  • Manage testing to project timelines

  • Participate in the Agile project flow providing feedback in all areas, paying close attention to high risk areas and communicating testing concerns

  • Ensure High Quality in all deliverables: software, test cases, bug cases, automation plans, and documented results

  • Become a subject matter expert on existing and new features ensuring you can fully test, review logs for troubleshooting and create new and update existing test cases

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • BS or BA degree. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Required skills/experience:

  • Three+ years of mobile testing experience

  • Two+ years of experience creating and maintaining automation tools and techniques for mobile.

  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium.

  • Experience with cloud based mobile simulators like SauceLabs or Mobile Lab

  • Experience using SQL to extract, modify and add data to Oracle and/or SQL Server databases

  • Knowledge and application of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and tools

  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile software development methodology

  • Creative, detail oriented and a problem solver

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Self-motivated and driven; takes ownership of personal and team goals

  • Able to excel with limited supervision in a rapidly changing environment under aggressive timelines

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Five+ years of mobile testing experience

  • Three+ years of experience creating and maintaining automation tools and techniques for mobile.

  • Knowledge of Apple Wallet and Google Wallet integrations

  • Understanding of the rules around accepting payments

  • Experience with applications that use credit card processing hardware and\or door access control systems
