An Advanced Corporate Technical Instructor will join our Digital Education team that focuses on design and delivery of software application service training to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing training courses to customers and employees who are undergoing a product installation/conversion, as well as, those who request continuing education. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively within a team environment and has an extensive knowledge working with financial institutions.

This position will be filled to work at the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS, Monett, MO, Springfield, MO, or Remotely within the U.S.

The target salary range for this position is $48,800 – $70,000, based on location and experience.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Create, design, and maintain training materials and procedures for each customer scenario.

  • Maintain education environment for training purposes.

  • Provide follow-up on any questions asked during training that required post-training research. Ensure all questions are answered timely and thoroughly.

  • Seek increased knowledge of features and functions of products and services. Increase knowledge of current training techniques and practices. Keep current on product changes and upgrades.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software applications training, educational design, and/or supporting a financial institution.

  • Experience and knowledge within the financial industry.

  • Proficiency in programs such as WebEx or other web-based training, PowerPoint, and other presentation software and tools.

  • Ability to design and deliver quality software applications training that meets expectations of the trainee audience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Enterprise Workflow experience

  • An understanding of training and development methods.

  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness.
