Position Role Type:

This position works within a Clean Room ISO 6000 manufacturing environment assembling small high pressure oxygen equipment that supports large scale oxygen components and systems. The high level detailed piece work is to be performed during a 2nd shift, 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-1:00am.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Uses high level attention to detail to build components in this environment.

  • Daily use of hand tools such as torque, crowfoot, and allen wrenches.

  • Daily use of measuring equipment to ensure in spec product such as calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers.

  • Daily use of blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instruction on assembling of product.

  • Adjusts equipment according to test results and knowledge of process and equipment.

  • Record gauge readings and test results.

  • Tests oxygen for purity and moisture content at various stages of process.

  • Extreme High level compliance with PPE and cleanroom standard to mitigate foreign objects and debris from entering product.

  • Other job duties assigned.

  • Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior clean room work experience
