Our Lenexa facility specializes in the production of Oxygen Life Support Systems and Galley Inserts Beverage Maker Products. Our Oxygen and Beverage Maker small parts assembly manufacturing focuses on safety and quality products production into the field for aircraft crew and passengers. 

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Liaison Engineering Manager in our Oxygen & PSU Systems business located in Lenexa, KS.


Provides management review and control over multiple units of engineering work, including all legacy products, major structures to support production, the integration of new development projects into production or processes as part of a major engineering program. This managerial position usually integrates several specialized areas of engineering to serve a particular business segment, or directs a single specialization serving several business units.


  • Manages the Liaison Engineering group over a range of products or processes

  • Focuses on managerial concerns of the liaison projects such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation; provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work.

  • Reviews technical concepts of major projects.

  • Personally participates in solving particularly difficult technical problems.

  • Providing direction on new product development on material and process costing as it pertains to manufacturability, assembly, equipment selection, and design for quality to meet customer requirements.

  • Manages completion of engineering prototype builds, pilot product builds and production readiness by executing PRL during development.

  • Supports with product issue analysis and provide ROM for work packages required by Supply Chain Management and Program Management for technical queries.

  • Supports product investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions as appropriate.

  • Participates in the change control process to support investigation and implementation of proposed product and component changes.

  • Supports product update initiatives

  • Detailed reviews of project samples, assemblies, and specifications for dimensional accuracy, reliability, manufacturability, project intent, and provide recommendations to D&D for correction and improvements.

  • Support Customer communication to facilitate and improve Product Quality and delivery as needed.

  • Supports product transfers between different manufacturing sites

  • Develops phase gate product release manufacturing documentation required to support production builds.

  • Develops and supports new manufacturing processes required to support new technologies.

  • Serves as member of material review board to determine disposition of defective or damaged parts.

  • Responsible for recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs.


Manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervises nonexempt associates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. May also directly supervise exempt and nonexempt associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university;

  • Eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Three (3) years of Supervisory Experience
