Aerotek Hospital Service Technician in Lenexa, Kansas


Candidate will be working in the hospital and Agiliti leases out surgical and medical equipment to patients throughout the hospital. Candidates will be pushing carts that will have up to 100 pounds of equipment on them. They will be logging and scanning equipment, as well as tracking all of the details on the proprietary computer system they have. They will make notes on how long the equipment is needed, will take the equipment to the correct place in the hospital, and will proceed to log the correct information in the system. They will also be cleaning equipment as well.

BEST V AVG Best candidate is one that is highly detail-oriented as they will need to keep track of various pieces and tools on a daily basis and know where they go and for how long. THEY MUST HAVE GOOD ATTENDANCE!!!!! Some of their best candidates have been from a home health or hospice setting where they have had to be in charge of multiple things at once as well as not afraid to clean things, log things in system and multi-task.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Every day is different in how busy they are (most discharges happen from 3-5 PM so that's the busy time), but each day for the entire department there are 1000-1500 pieces that are taken through and ordered for the hospital. Need to be able to keep up with requests that come through as necessary.

1st DAY: Will do training with Mike and the team for 2 weeks before they will be traveling through the hospital and logging items themselves. They need to be familiar with computer systems on their first day.
