System One Electrician - Lenexa in Lenexa, Kansas

We are accepting applications for Journeyman Electricians with Industrial experience for project and service work for our clients in the Kansas City area. Candidates should have experience working as an electrician in industrial. This position has the potential for career advancement.

+ + Journeyman license level electrician.

  • Experience as a Industrial Electrician.

  • MSHA certification is a plus but not required.

  • Typical 40-hour work week during the daytime hours, with some flexibility and overtime.

  • Flexible and willing to work on-call, day, night, or weekend shifts as the project or job requires.

  • Available to work overtime as needed.

  • Dependable – must show up to work on time daily.

  • Able to work inside or outside in various temperatures and environments.

  • Must have reliable transportation with insurance.

  • Safety conscious, follow all applicable PPE guidelines.

  • Has basic hand tools and PPE.

  • Self-motivated, career-minded, looking for a place with advancement opportunities.

  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills.

  • Certified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights.

    Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators.

  • Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational.

  • Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.

  • Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by company, our customers, or OSHA.
