Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will collaborate with team members across the education segment to evaluate the efficacy of educational, funded and non-funded work that aligns with the Academy’s goals. This role will support the education segment by providing evaluation expertise and strategy. This role will actively seek out existing strengths in data collection, identify gaps in available data and align evaluation strategies for various CME and non-CME related projects/products. This role will conceptualize and develop strategies for future collaborative funded projects, incorporating and engaging all relevant partners in evaluation efforts. This role will also be responsible for the execution of funded and non-funded strategic projects at the AAFP.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required, and a graduate degree highly preferred in the area of public health, health care administration, or other related disciplines. In addition, applicants must have a minimum of six years of experience and understanding of health care and public health issues. Ability to understand, interpret and execute evidence-based programs. Ability to write grants and evaluate programs. Ability to communicate effectively in small groups, work teams, and a team player who can work well with internal teams.
