Kyndryl, Inc. Payroll Practitioner in LEAWOOD, Kansas

Your Role and Responsibilities

This professional level position has the responsibility to help execute payroll process as well as provide leadership to other team members. This role is part of a team that will have responsibility for the execution of many processes in US Payroll.

  • Team lead of 6-8 associates

  • Includes testing and documenting new interfaces with external vendors

  • Vendor interface for current vendor as well as possible new vendors

  • Invoice tieout and management related to those vendors

  • Design and implement new controls related to setup of a new payroll vendor

  • Use process knowledge to guide others

  • Be able to multi task and handle many competing projects for themselves and their team

  • Use Enterprise Design Thinking to create and send employee facing Payroll materials

  • Execution of Quarterly Payroll tax control processes

  • Act as the main external audit interface

  • Handle employee questions and escalations as needed

  • Use project management skills to help team members prioritize workload

  • Understand and adapt Robotic Process Automation for new processes

  • Other duties will be assigned as needed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of US Payroll process and programs, tax withholding obligations. Minimum 3 years

  • Project Management

  • Vendor management

  • Financial controls

  • Customer service

  • Leading complex application and business process changes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office minimum 1 year

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Preferred, Payroll tax withholding knowledge 2 year

  • Knowledge of a vendor payroll setup

  • Business writing

Required Education High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree
