Our work depends on a Computer Programmer III joining our team to support the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) activities at Atlanta, GA. This job can be supported remotely

At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Technical Writer supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to support the modernization of the emergency operations center.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collecting and organizing information required for preparation of user’s manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

  • Editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user’s manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.

  • Preparing and editing documentation incorporating information provided by the users, specialists, analysts, programmers, and management personnel.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience.

  • Must have experience in developing, editing & producing technical and graphic documentation for information technology systems.

  • 1 Year of relevant experience

  • Ability to pass a government security investigation for Public Trust
