Job Description

The Student Assistant Shipping Specialist will work with other students in stocking, pulling, packing, and creating labels to ship books in a warehouse.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be organized and have close attention to detail, as evidenced by application materials.
  • Must lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Enrollment in 6 or more credit hours at KU.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Satisfactory work experience in shipping/warehousing /stock control or bookstore.
  • Commitment to remain at KU two or more years.
  • Dependable work ethic.
