May prepare implements for field work. Maintain/repair machinery. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities and fertilizer. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days work. Crops: corn, wheat, milo, sunflowers and alfalfa
30-minute meal break daily.
On-Call 24 hours a day is possible depending on harvest and weather sensitive jobs.
