Job Description
Provide supportive services to individuals preparing for employment or career. Collaborate effectively with Goodwill and NexStep Success Coaches, staff, and community partners. Provide job-based preparatory services to include digital skills training, psychometric tests, and career exploration and development. Provide supportive job-based retention services to address conflict resolution, decision making, and problem solving. Support participants and implement strategies to assess abilities and barriers to employment. Monitor job placement, performance, wage levels, and related metrics. Responsible for long-term job-related participant outreach and management. Help program participants secure career-based, sustainable employment at a competitive wage. Generate accurate and timely reports as requested. Other assigned duties and/or projects as deemed necessary by the Director of Mission Initiatives. To fulfill mission statement.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, college degree in progress or obtained preferred. Must pass a background check. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to multiple locations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience providing presentations.High level of computer literacy and ability. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience providing job coaching. Experience working with a diverse population.
