Fortive Corporation District Sales Manager in Kansas
For the right motivated salesperson, this job offers the chance to make an impact. We are currently seeking a top-performing sales professional to grow sales in our Rocky Mountain Region. The District is comprised of Colorado, Northern New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. The position is home office based and preferably located in either Oklahoma, Kansas or Nebraska. The Position will be focused on expanding our portfolio of solutions with existing and new customers. Primary markets are Oil and Gas, Utilities, Government, Construction and Power generation.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle and communications at the end user and distributor levels. This position will report directly to the Director of US Sales West.
Ability to sell complex cloud-based solutions
Expand footprint within existing customers
Prospect and develop new customers
Maintain a robust pipeline of managed opportunities in SF
Provide monthly and quarterly forecasts in alignment with sales objectives
Manage and motivate a network of key distributors
Represent ISC at regional and national trade shows
Develop and execute territory sales action plan
Develop and adhere to the business plan that ensures success
5+ years of documented successful outside sales experience in Industrial sales, prefer safety or process instrumentation sales experience in an Industrial Sales environment with an emphasis on solution selling.
Must be able to solution sell and manage sales cycles
Working knowledge of industrial markets i.e. Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Steel, Power Generation, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Goal-oriented and driven
Solid prioritization and organizational skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service
Experience using CRM software and forecasting (Salesforce.com preferred)
Qualifications preferred (Negotiable):
Proven solution sales professional with the ability to solve customer problems through innovative technology-driven solutions i.e. SaaS
Understand and can sell cloud-based solutions
Experience selling safety and/or industrial software
Demonstrated success in selling to the C-Suite level
Experience working with a distribution network
