Position : Senior Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Corporate Finance team to analyze potential financial scenarios, create presentations regarding various financial request, complete ad hoc reporting as requested. This position requires effective communication in working with various departments across DFA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the various Corporate departments during the mergers and acquisition process including consolidating materials and managing the project process

  • Assist in the review and preparation of financial presentations for internal and external financial updates and requests

  • Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance, ratings and covenants of the Cooperative

  • Prepare financial models with various scenarios for further evaluation by management

  • Engage in ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed to support the Corporate Finance team

  • Manage Director’s Desk for the Corporate Board including creating the agenda, communicating with speakers, compiling materials, reviewing presentations and publishing prior to the Board meeting

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement within areas of responsibility

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, Master's degree preferred

  • At least 3 years Finance experience

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to use advanced features in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, as well as adaptability to learn other software programs needed to perform the tasks of the job

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Able to demonstrate self-leadership qualities as a self-starter

  • Able to work with high accuracy and attention to detail

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision; able to work independently in an office or remote working environment

  • Able to assist manager on assigned projects and see through to completion

  • Maintain confidentiality of information
