  • Position: Senior Dashboard SharePoint Support

  • Location: Washington, DC (REMOTE)

  • Job type: Consultant ((W-2 tax basis only, no C2C)

  • Duration: 12 Months


Provide support for dashboard SharePoint needs, including:

  • Integration with multiple divergent external data sources

  • Deploying requested metrics capture lists

  • Maintaining data connections with external and internal data sources

  • Developing and updating forms

  • Programming workflows and optimizing data flow

  • Develop wire frames and clickable prototypes visualizes data from multiple sources in easily consumable manners

  • Create logical drill downs and user interfaces

  • Comb through data sources and organize in appropriate fashion

  • Perform project management activities, tracking status, and planning

  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to determine metrics, measures, and data needs


  • 4+ years of professional work experience

  • Possess knowledge of appropriate data sources to address the specific requirements of projects for monitoring, characterization, analysis and modeling

  • Experience performing scientific research, scientific writing and editing, including the writing and editing of project products to established government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences, proofreading of draft and final documents

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to attend meetings and workshops to present on project work, participate in discussions

  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline, or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA

  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

  • Extensive experience standing up SharePoint sites, preferably within the VA

  • Thorough understanding of SharePoint permissions models and hierarchy including experience setting up Site Collection features and infrastructure

  • PowerBI or Tableau proficiency

  • Experience with MySQL in Azure

  • Experience developing ETL scripts for data automation

  • Experience with developing custom PowerBI Apps

  • Experience with implementing ML algorithms
