Reporting to the Shared Applications SAP Manager, the SAP Order to Cash (OTC)) Analyst will participate in a cross-functional, team environment responsible for support of core Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) Order to Cash business applications.
This position is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the SAP Order to Cash processes. Partner with the implementation teams for rollouts throughout the company, providing input on system design, integration testing, documentation, user training, and post go-live support. Act as day-to-day SAP production support, including coordination with team members and external on- and off-shore consultants. Recommend best practices to key business users to configure and enhance SAP to meet business requirements, using approved DFA implementation and change control methodology.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support DFA’s order to cash processes across the organization covering sales orders, contracts, pricing, billing, credit, availability check, shipping and delivery processing, system integration with external systems, customers, and 3PLs and provide end user support and training as required.
Gather business requirements and transform them into SAP business processes that can be implemented and supported.
Identify and resolve system issues by working with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define systems goals and operational requirements.
Work with the business to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Create detailed documentation and lead training sessions with business and shared applications team.
Lead sessions in prototyping new procedures and systems.
Collaborate in the planning, analysis, design, development, documentation, testing and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in design and configuration in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) with strong knowledge of integration points between Materials Management (MM), Logistics (LO) and Finance (FICO)
Experience working with SAP output and forms (printing or sending via EDI, email, fax) for sales orders, deliveries, shipments and billing documents (i.e. Order Confirmation, BOL, Certificate of Analysis, Invoice)
Full life-cycle SAP SD implementation experience from system design to post go live support
Experience publishing detailed documentation and delivering end user training
Demonstrated project management skills
General knowledge of EDI, IDocs, Workflow and ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues
2 – 5 years of experience in SAP production support environment preferred
SAP ABAP coding experience or ability to read and understand custom ABAP code is a plus
