We’re thrilled to share we’re rebranding and changing our name from KVC Hospitals to Camber Children’s Mental Health. Our mission and values remain the same and we will continue providing compassionate, high-quality inpatient and residential children’s mental health services. We are seeking individuals to join our mission in the role of Receptionist, Part Time.

The right candidate must be friendly, flexible, organized and great at multitasking. The receptionist is first person to greet children and families experiencing stress, so a calm, collected, yet friendly demeanor is a must. The Receptionist will transfer calls, take messages, sort and distribute mail and greet all visitors and families.


Discretion and confidentiality are a must.

Excellent communication skills required.

Experience answering multi-line phone system required.

Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office required.

Must be at least 20 years of age. Criminal background check and drug screen required. Must have a high school or GED from an accredited high school.

Base pay starts at $14 per hour.

About Camber Children’s Mental Health

Camber Children’s Mental Health is a network of nonprofit children’s mental health hospitals and residential treatment centers in Kansas City, Wichita and Hays. You previously knew us as KVC Hospitals and for over 30 years, our healthcare and mental health professionals have provided compassionate treatment to help children and teens achieve mental health wellness.

The goal of treatment is to provide each child with an individualized treatment plan to help them return home as soon and as safely possible, equipped with the resilience, support, and resources they need to continue treatment in their community. Our patient-centered approach works to heal the whole family unit when a child is struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harming, the impacts of trauma, and other mental health conditions.
