Position Description:Responsible for the testing of fuel delivery systems on the trucks and carts that Garsite builds and associated components utilizing the test stand facility and other troubleshooting methodologies as required to deliver a quality operational product. Conducts inspections on purchased components, finished goods and sub-assembly components utilizing quality documentation. Manages everting about the Test Stand including operation, equipment, safety, processes and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes proper test procedures in accordance with quality and engineering specifications.
  • Drives the continuous improvement of testing processes and safety procedures.
  • Develops and implements new environmental and safety standard operating procedures or maintenance plans, compliant with US policies.
  • Achieve exceptional productivity and quality performance by deploying data analytics and localizing operational KPI metrics.
  • Ensures the quality of the tests and outputs.
  • Troubleshoots product issues and provides guidance and feedback to production/assembly.
  • Regular inspection & maintenance of test equipment and schedules regular calibration activities in partnership with Quality Manager.
  • Maintains compliance with all environmental health and safety policies and practices.
  • Ensures proper documentation of all projects.
  • Complies with all applicable procedures.
  • Supports manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity.
  • Assists warranty with technical issues related to fuel system testing and outputs.
  • Inspects purchased, sub-assembly, and finished good components utilizing quality processes and documentation.
  • Conducts and documents regular preventative maintenance activities on test stand equipment and associated systems.
  • Assists with production tasks at the discretion of the Quality Manager.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field plus 5 years\' experience in fuel management and/or equivalent military experience.

Knowledge, Training, Skills, or Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of fuel engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with fuel management software.

{=html} <!-- --> - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints. - A working knowledge of quality core tools such as MSA, SPC, and APQP. - Requires a high degree of knowledge in all areas of the production process. - Strong computer skills with experience in various software applications. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Exceptional problem-solving skills utilizing 3L5Y or other common methodologies. - Exhibits safe work habits, as well as maintaining and enforcing compliance with all corporate and/or plant policies, rules, procedures, and regulations. - The ability to drive continuous improvement. - Prefer individual to possess a minimum of three (3) years\' experience with aviation refuelers, maintenance and repair of aviation refuelers.
