Job Description:

  • Completions of monthly billing cycle from gathering and verify billing items to creation of the timely and accurate customer invoices

  • Creation and verification of supporting documentation of the invoice for both internal and customer needs

  • Delivery of invoice and required documentation to customer, answering customer inquiries related to invoices, and following up on payment of the invoice

  • Able to enforce contractual requirements and audit guidelines and articulate to internal business partners

  • Setting up new contracts in the system specific to contractual details

  • Assist with other sections of the monthly billing cycle if needed

  • Engage with stakeholders for continuous improvements to billing process

  • Assist with the analysis of billing process, evaluate and recommend improvement actions

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of customer contractual arrangements

  • Ability to understand complex pricing methods

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Work well in a cross-functional matrix environment

  • Positive attitude and strong customer focus

  • Advanced Excel skills required

  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced business environment

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related Business area

  • 5+ years of billing experience preferred

  • SAP Contract to Cash experience

Special Requirements:

  • Work week is 40 hours plus overtime as required to meet business requirements.
