Job Title: ControllerJob Description
• Oversee the month-end close process including preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations. • Manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including training, coaching, and disciplining Accounting Department staff. • Protect company assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. • Prepare the annual company budget and coordinate this effort with department managers. • Monitor customer receivables and coordinate collection efforts as necessary. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal & tax requirements for conducting business, including the preparation of tax and regulatory filings, and provide supporting documentation for federal and state tax returns. • Prepare financial reporting to the Group level (parent), as required. • Manage treasury cash management functions and cash flow planning. • Prepare financial analyses and special reports for management. • Work with the Cost Accountant on cost accounting functions, inventory, and product costing. • Maintain the fixed asset management system. • Actively seek and evaluate cost-saving opportunities throughout the Company. • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and plans. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Kansas City, Kansas and some days remote.
Work Environment
On site 100% to supervise/manage on-site reports. Office setting that is modern. Can work from home as needed, e.g., appointments, home maintenance, etc.
