We are currently hiring for a Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse) on our Medical Transplant Intensive Care Unit.

Medical Transplant Intensive Care

Here, nurses provide intensive care for patients before or after they receive liver, kidney, or pancreas transplants. Having an intensive care unit dedicated to transplant patients allows for continuity of care and optimizes standards of care, resulting in improved patient outcomes. In addition, nurses on this unit manage a wide variety of conditions requiring critical care including liver failure, renal failure, pulmonary hypertension(PH), respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, sepsis, and surgical patients following hepatobiliary surgery that require intensive monitoring. Nurses provide advanced therapies including Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System. Additionally, nurses from the MTICU are part of our hospitals’ Rapid Response and Code Blue team. This broad range of patient conditions and therapies continually challenges our staff to expand their nursing skills as they expertly manage complex patient conditions.
