What You-ll Do
As an AWS Architect at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:
Interact with Customers andSogeti sponsors and delivery teams (including partners) focused on solvingmission-critical business and technology problems and provide solutionswhich center on the consumption of the AWS Platform
Execute technical feasibilityassessments, solution estimations and proposal development for movingidentified workloads to AWS
Develop technical and securityspecifications for the targeted applications/workloads in AWS
Develop a migration approach tomove workloads from On-Premises to AWS or develop new cloud-readyapplication solutions
Lead and mentor medium to largesized teams in the migration workloads or implementations of applicationand services to the cloud in large enterprise environments
Document and share technicalbest practices and insights with the Customer and Sogeti community,contributing to Sogeti's repository of intellectual property
Strategize, plan, and executebusiness development
Engage with Sogeti's Technologyleaders and solutions experts to deliver cutting edge solutions toclients
Expand Sogeti's portfolio ofsolutions and professional services in the local geography.
Maintain and grow clientrelationships
Induce solutions and ideas tohelp clients improve their business performance
Work in an entrepreneurialenvironment with a high level of senior management access.
Minimum education qualification
- Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
The ideal candidatewill have:
Understanding of cloudcomputing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Oversight experience ontransformational projects and successful transitions to implementationsupport teams
Full lifecycle experiencedeveloping large scale applications with a workingknowledge of agile development, SCRUM, Application Lifecycle Management(ALM) and DevOps
Project experience in migratingOn-Premise workloads to the cloud and/or implementing cloud-readyapplications
Deep technical experience inone or more of the following areas:
Software design or developmentof highly distributed applications
Systems operations / management
Virtualization, Networking,Storage, Security
Proven track record of drivingdecisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
Strong problem-solving andanalytical skills leveraging all available resources
Ability to connect technologywith measurable business value
Demonstrated technical thoughtleadership in customer facing situations
Exceptional verbal and writtencommunication
Presentation skills with a highdegree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
