Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
This AVP, Digital Measurement Analytics role will be responsible for designing and developing measurement strategies, collecting, and translating data to deliver on actionable insights for Synchrony's digital products and features. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, partnering with agile, technology, and marketing groups to implement digital measurement, and leverage online/offline data, content management tools and 3rd party service providers for deep dive analysis. This role partners cross functionally as well as with analytics leadership, to solve complex problems to enable better strategic decisions, drive customer engagement and deliver digital growth. The selected candidate will act as the POC for the agile train and will deliver by partnering with both onshore and offshore resources.

Essential Responsibilities:
Agile Analytics individual contributor building measurement strategies to the digital feature/functions
Support about 3-4 agile teams working on digital platforms and data ingestion
Collaborate with Technology and UX teams to understand feature/platform
Design and develop measurement solutions, leveraging Adobe, GA360 and Analytical logs technologies
Create Analytical requirements or stories, convert business requirements to stories
Partner with agile and DAIT teams to implement analytics data solution
Perform quality checks and provide required sign off
Provide actionable insights to Business and Product team
Partner with Digital analytics product owner, business and platform teams to identify Critical, Primary and Secondary KPI's to measure developing feature
Create 30-, 60- and 90-days actionable insights into the features/functions developed by agile teams
Showcase performance of the developed feature/function, backing the analytics data
Provide recommendations to improve conversation, identifying and reducing frictions in customer paths
Gatekeeper of all digital KPI's related to functions developed and released by supported agile teams
Provide cross functional training around developed KPI and guide PnL teams with digital analysis/analytics
Responsible for data accuracy and integrity, for developed functions
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, OR in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 7+ years analytics experience in digital, marketing, portfolio management and product development in credit card/consumer businesses
Minimum of 3+ years of work experience to include:
2+ years of experience working with digital analytics platforms such Adobe Analytics or GA4
1+ year of experience with SQL and with SAS, Python or R, as well as working knowledge of Data warehouse concepts
1+ year of experience using Tableau
Desired Characteristics:
Eager to learn, ideate and collaborate to bring out best solutions to analytics problems
Hands on, self-motivated professional who can effectively prioritizes multiple analytics projects
Ability to solve business questions through quantitative approaches and translate to business insights
Experience with Big Data environment, Hive tables, Hive SQL
Knowledge around across channel or device attribution, customer experience measurement for POS
Demonstrate ability to manage complexity and multiple assignments with less supervision
Strong understanding in credit card industry, Marketing, financial P&L drivers
Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 95,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
