Description
We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to be part of our team located in Kansas City, Kansas. In this role within the Constuction/Manufacturing industry, you will be tasked with various accounting duties, from processing customer applications to maintaining precise customer records. You will also be required to address any customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts to take appropriate actions when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Execute data entry tasks for customer credit applications with precision and speed.
• Maintain customer credit records with the highest level of accuracy.
• Regularly communicate with customers and vendors, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Handle the creation of sales orders and other related accounting tasks.
• Prepare invoices and checks for mailing on a daily basis.
• Enter account payment information and adjustments into the computer system daily.
• Ensure all invoices are mailed in accordance to our company procedures.
• Create and review accounts payable/receivable reports for accuracy as needed.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging and cash requirement reports, reviewing and updating them as necessary.
• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks to optimize our accounting operations.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in Billing operations
• Competence in Data Entry tasks
• Ability to handle Invoice Processing efficiently
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
