We operate a 4300-acre farm where we grow corn, milo, wheat, soybeans and feed. We also do swathing and baling. We need a seasonal employee to assist with all aspects of growing these crops including planting, drill feed and wheat, running farm equipment including tractors, planters, swather, baler and rake. Employee will need to assist with general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employers discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion.
Family housing not available. Housing will be clean & meet applicable Fed, State and local Housing Standards. Workers must maintain neat & clean housing. Reasonable repair cost of damage, other than normal wear and tear will be deducted from the earnings. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male & female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided.
Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day. Daily transportation at no cost to workers is available to workers who do not reside in employer-provided housing from centralized pick-up points.
