Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop a solid foundation of mechanical and operational expertise with production equipment, monitor production processes, troubleshoot auxiliary equipment, perform mold changes, and carry out preventive maintenance. This role requires proficiency in HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat and stretch blow molding, and a thorough understanding of Quality Control measures.
Responsibilities
Monitor production processes on blow molding machines to maintain product specifications.
Troubleshoot auxiliary equipment to keep production lines running efficiently.
Perform mold changes and initiate production runs.
Carry out preventive maintenance as per the periodic schedule.
Develop processing proficiency in HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat and stretch blow molding.
Complete maintenance projects following sanitation policies and procedures.
Gain a thorough understanding of Quality Control and measurable testing to meet product specifications.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and manuals.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to interpret data and make decisions accordingly.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC skills.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred.
Mechanical knowledge preferred.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Manufacturing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Additional education, certifications, or licenses applicable to the production environment are preferable.
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is highly valued.
Experience with welding, automation, and schematic reading is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is a production setting for food-grade containers, requiring a high degree of sanitation. Noise levels are moderate, with hearing protection provided by the company. The production area is climate controlled. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 4:00 pm - 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hillsboro, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $68640.00/yr.
