We farm 4000 acres of corn, soybeans, some alfalfa and some organic corn and soybeans. We also do some excavation work on the farm. We have 350,000 bushels of grain storage so there is a fair amount of grain trucking involved. We need seasonal employees to assist with hauling grain. Tending chemicals to the sprayer using a semi and tanker. Tending fertilizer in the fall to fields. Assist with field maintenance in the summer including operating farm equipment including a tractor, shredder, sprayer and ATV. Employees will need to do general farm duties as assigned. Will be required to do routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
