Your Impact:
Manage Value Stream Quality Engineers and their work, helping them interpret the data gathered to provide direction for quality activities.
Create and implement process improvement projects across the manufacturing value streams using various methodologies including a Quality Network and Kaizen activities.
Provide expert level knowledge and coaching of structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5why, FMEA, etc.) to resolve quality issues.
Provide expert level knowledge of blueprints and specifications (Geometric tolerances, ASTM standards, ISO standards, etc.)
Responsibility to keep all tools at the site in calibration.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in quality engineering focusing on problem solving, defect correction and prevention and the PDCA process in the automotive or agricultural equipment industries with 2+ years of leadership experience.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, for distances up to 50 feet, occasionally, as needed to assist others and must be able to visually inspect and locate parts and materials, as well as to read required documentation.
Lean process improvement implementations experience and knowledge of ISO9000
Knowledge of Fabrication w/ metals or fabricated parts
