What You’ll Do

As a Press Brake Machine Operator or Laser Operator,you’ll be part of our team located inHesston, KS. You’ll get to:

· Safely Setup and Operate Press Brake tofabricate parts in accordance with blueprint specifications.

· Inspect work using various tools such as Calipers, micrometer, Tape Measure, Protractor and Height Gage.

· Select proper Brake tooling and load/unload from Machine.

· Set up and operate other machines such as a drill press, punch press, shear, bending roll, Hand brake and Grinders, to shape and form sheet metal according to specifications.

· Prioritize work as needed to meet production schedule deadlines.

· Deburr customer parts as needed

· Operate and maintain the Trumpf equipment in a manufacturing environment

· Review daily production hot sheets to determine parts and materials needed

· Adjust the laser programs after observing the laser in operation to ensure accuracy of parts

· Coordinate and communicate with various production departments around materials needed and finished product movement

· De-nest parts, inspect, sort and place parts in appropriate tubs

· Remove and properly dispose of scrap

You also have:

· High School /GED diploma preferred

· Experience in operation of standard fabrication equipment and hoists

· Overall production background, preferred

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, although most frequent liftis 20 pounds

· Ability to stand, stoop, bend, sit and squat for up to 100% of the shift

· Previous Press brake and operation, preferred

· Use of measurement tools: Calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, scales, etc.

· Use of hand tools: grinders, DA, sanders, etc.
