Job Description:

As a store manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operations of our Hays location while also maintaining a tidy store. This includes leading a team of retail staff professionals and delivering outstanding customer service experiences while optimizing efficiency and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to increase our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Inform District Manager of any inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in staff scheduling.
  • Complete store administrative duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs.
  • Resolving all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
  • Lead by example, exhibiting high productivity & performance.
  • Additional store manager duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills and business orientation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
