PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install electrical wiring and assembles components in sterilizer equipment according to blue prints
- Assemble plumbing onto units
- Cut, strip, bends, and form wire cable assemblies
- Drill, tap, and cut tubing and piping
- Connect color coded and numbered wire
- Solder and crimp connections
- Test and adjust assemblies
- Follow all requirements of the PRIMUS Quality Manual
- Responsible for following PRIMUS safety requirements
- Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervisor or engineer to eliminate assembly problems
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy via the Kanban system
- Facility housekeeping (5S)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Dress code is casual (T-shirt and jeans. No sweats) Safety glasses and shoes are mandatory
- Hair neatly groomed and trimmed
- Maintain a positive attitude, and ability to work agreeably with customers, co-workers, and supervisor
- Willingness to help discover and implement ideas to improve work processes and assembly technician performance
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out work instructions
- Understand and implement PRIMUS policies and procedures
