Job Duties: Work involves receiving, docketing, and processing cases accurately for the District Court.  Issue legal process as required, follow established procedures, set hearings and maintain calendar, receipt monies, assist in preparation of docket, and provide information and assistance to judges, attorneys, self-represented litigants, law enforcement agencies, other government agencies, and the public by phone, emails, and in person.  In person and virtual facilitation of courtroom proceedings.  Operate courtroom recording and virtual technology.  Communicate effectively and efficiently using both oral and written means.  Maintain confidentiality.   Follow oral or written instructions.  Make decisions based upon laws, rules, policies, and procedures. Will perform other duties assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.

Required Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalency and one year of clerical experience, legal experience preferred.  Ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, and online platforms such as Zoom.  Experience with high call volume, in person customer assistance, and ability to multi-task a must.
