The Electric Generation / Substation Manager is responsible for assigned projects, O&M tasks, and supervision of the Engineering Technician and Electric Operators. In addition to daily operation and maintenance of the electric substations, transmission system and combustion turbine generators, Manager is responsible for the implementation of CIP projects. This employee should possess strong technical, communication, supervisory and organizational skills. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of at least seven (7) years of experience in the power generation industry and/or Municipal utilities. Experience working with regulatory and compliance programs in the power generation industry and/or Municipal utilities. Experience providing direction, consultation, and knowledge of SPP market rules and regulations. Experience working with and knowledge of NERC/FERC/EPA/EIA standards. Requires the possession of a valid drivers license and a good driving record. Application Deadline: Open Until Filled.
