A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
Qualified external applicants with direct clinical experience eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus! The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations. Additional relocation bonus may apply based on geographical location. Must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions may apply.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
To qualify for a Medical Laboratory Technician position:
1 year related work experience preferred
Associates Degree in laboratory science OR
Bachelors Degree in related sciences, OR
Completion of a U.S. Military 50-week course leading to specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent role
MLT ASCP or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire
To qualify for a Medical Technician position:
1 year related work experience preferred
Associates Degree required
Bachelors Degree preferred
MLS (or MT) ASCP or categorical/specialty certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
