CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is seeking .MRF Technical Team Lead.

The MRF Technical Team Lead provides technical leadership and serves as the technical subject matter expert in the deployment and integration of simulation technologies, federated simulation systems, and Mission Command systems. The MRF Technical Team Lead is responsible for the overall preparation and execution of MRF Technical Team Lead operations in support of training events, exercises, and tests. The MRF Technical Team Lead trains and mentor’s simulation analysts and database administrators; conducts performance management; and oversees staffing and employee relations and time management. The MRF Technical Team Lead supports the Government in the development, coordination, integration, and employment of Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) simulation federation, which is used to conduct integrated simulation supported test and training events. The MRF Technical Team Lead participates in evaluating and implementing software and hardware technologies to improve the delivery of training simulations; identifies, analyzes, develops, implements, and integrates hardware and software solutions based on industry best practices and customer insight and requirements; and provides hardware and software management support throughout the product lifecycle, from acceptance delivery, to sustainment maintenance and employment for training.

Required Skills

  • Possesses experience leading technical teams and Army training simulation exercise design and management; knowledge in JLCCTC software development, Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A;), networking, Microsoft Windows, Linux family of operating systems, and virtualization.
  • Possesses knowledge in setting up and operating MRF software testing, analysis, troubleshooting, test writing, Problem Tracking Report (PTR) writing, technical analysis, help desk support, demonstrated problem solving capability, briefing technical status and issues.
  • Possesses experience in linkages with other services simulations and federations (Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC), Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical
  • Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), JTTI+K, Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM), etc.)
  • Possesses Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT II) certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification.
  • Complies with and meets Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT II) Certification requirements as specified in 05-PR-M-0002, Information Assurance Best Business Practice (IA BBP), Information Assurance (IA) training and certification, as updated, i.e. Security + and complete Computing Environment (CE) certification and/or completion of training for primary area of support, (e.g. Cisco, Linux, Microsoft, VMware, etc.).

Required Experience

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Possesses and maintains an interim or active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline
  • Three (3) years of experience as a simulation technician.
  • Possesses Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT II) certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification.
