LMI Aerospace Program Manager in Fredonia, Kansas
Program management for all new programs
Track schedules, and resources to ensure program is delivered on time, with 100% quality
Communicate with department managers, and leads to set and drive the schedule
Communicate with customers, status program, incorporate changes, ensure ON TIME DELIVERY
Work with General Manager an0d Department Managers to ensure proper resources exist to support the current programs
Help develop the budget (People, Machines, Start up Cost) measure the performance of budget vs actual
Work with the estimating department to measure the estimated vs actual of the project, and individual parts
Develop metrics to show progress and report internally, and externally
Maintain Access DB for new programs.
Utilize MRP system to ensure all tasks are being completed as necessary
Once a program completes compile all project data (budget, and financial performance) to review with the leadership team.
Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Experience:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 3 years of previous Managerial responsibility.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and organizational skills; being able to interact well with customers, management, administration, and production while satisfactorily completing multiple assignments in a timely fashion.
Leadership skills, has positive ‘can do’ attitude, ability to motivate, influence, and foster loyalty.
Results oriented and takes ownership.
Must possess exceptional judgment, initiative, discretion, tact, and personality in all areas of responsibility while maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Creative, problem-solver, sound decision maker.
Solid computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
Effective use of a computer keyboard.
Effective use of telephone and other applicable electronic communication equipment.
View machines and other operations as part of the manufacturing process.
Verbal communication with plant personnel and management.
Occasional requirements may include standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.
