Successful candidates for this position will have a commitment to helping all students succeed at academics and social interactions with peers and adults. This position involves working with students across a wide variety of abilities atpreschool school level. Fort Scott USD 234 is a progressive and child-centered local education agency, with an emphasis on family\ friendly practices.
\ Current Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement is required, or applicant\ would be eligible and willing to pursue a licensure waiver for the position.\ Position is open until filled. Anticipate start date: August 1, 2024.
Duties for the position: leading IEP teams in delivering of IEP services, completing\ assessments and reports, managing IEP paperwork, supervision of para staff, assisting\ and supporting teachers, communicating with parents, leading IEP and team meetings,\ maintaining adequate records and progress monitoring data as required.\ We encourage interested applicants to apply to learn more about this position, benefits,\ supports for new teachers, and the opportunities in USD 234.
