Supervise the College's Workforce Development and Outreach Division. Provide leadership support to the Executive Director of Outreach, Director of Business and Industry Training, and Director of StartUp Hutch/Quest Center for Entrepreneurs. Serve as an active member of Presidents Council. Oversee off-campus facilities and programs at the McPherson Center, Newton Center, Ft. Riley, Hillsboro Welding School, area high schools and at other instruction/training sites. Collaborate with regional economic and workforce development partners to recruit and retain regional business and industry. Create training programs that are responsive to the needs of regional employers. Oversee Early College credit hour classes for concurrently enrolled high school students. Oversee the CDL training program. Manage the testing site for CDL driving exams in compliance with the State of Kansas (Dept. of Revenue) regulations. Supervise Motorcycle Safety and CDL Training; complete and submit administrative reports to state agencies in a timely manner. Supervise and expand HutchCC non-credit classes. Review and manage annual budgets that support the Workforce Development and Outreach division. Representative the College at monthly Kansas Technical Education Authority meetings, and participate in other statewide meetings and committees as assigned. Serve as a resource to HutchCC Career Technical Education programs and departments. Maintain a culture of responsiveness by providing a high level of customer service to students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders. Work closely with the Vice President of Academic Affairs, department chairpersons, and outreach staff for the co-development of curriculum; scheduling of classes; instructor teaching assignments at the high schools and outreach locations. Serve as a member of President's Council. Participate on college-wide committees as assigned. Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures and practices. Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.Secondary Perform other duties as assigned by the Hutchinson Community College President.
