Quality Control Specialist
Where: Fort Riley, Kansas (Fort Riley TFM)
Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Skookum is seeking a dedicated and reliable Quality Control (QC) Specialist with experience in Construction or Facilities. This individual will be responsible for monitoring the quality performance of all services performed by Skookum Contract Services and Sub-Contractors on behalf of Skookum through independent surveillance.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Spend time in and out of the office reviewing work, performing quality control surveillance of services discussing quality levels with supervisors and ensuring that all problem areas are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
Perform and document daily inspection results utilizing the inspection program and/or forms, as applicable. Inspection types can include, but are not limited to pre, in-progress, and final inspections of all work to ensure all contract requirements are met.
Solicit customer surveys during inspection on predetermined buildings and/or randomly selected completed work orders.
Review, update and maintain a listing of building/ facility for area of responsibilities as needed.
Assists the Quality Control Manager in developing a wide variety of employee skills to deliver efficient, effective, and thorough quality control reports.
Associates degree in Quality preferred
Knowledge of or experience in Quality are preferred.
Experience in Construction or Facilities required.
Valid State Driver’s license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance company.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.
